Taught: 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade Elementary all subjects.  Taught 9th, 10th and 12th grade Health and Yearbook.


Roger Sheffield is the Assistant Principal at Clanton Intermediate School. Before becoming an Assistant Principal. He began teaching third grade at Jemison Elementary in 1998. As time passed and he wanted to be challenged more he moved on to teach sixth grade at Thorsby High School. After a year teaching 6th grade. He found himself to challenged again with an opportunity to become an Assistant Principal at Thorsby High School and teach high school students. Mr. Sheffield obtained a bachelor's, master's and specialist's degree in education from the University of Montevallo.

Mr. Sheffield is from Shelby County where he was born and raised. Attending Calera High School and graduating from Calera High School in 1985.  He and his wife moved to Chilton County in 1997 where he was honored to serve as a teacher and administrator at Thorsby High School, Maplesville High School and currently Clanton Intermediate School. Due to family health matters Mr. Sheffield and his wife moved back to Shelby County. They have two sons, Kevin, Casey and a daughter-in-law Michelle. The latest addition to the family was their grand-dog, Marty.
