Bio

My name is Rebecca Mullins. I have been a teacher in Jefferson County for the past 12 years. My teaching experience spans many grades. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 5th grade. This is my first year at Clanton Intermediate and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade reading!

My husband, Scott (also a teacher), and I have expanded our family this year. We had a little girl named Laurel on March 22, 2018. She has a 19 year old brother, Will, and a 17 year old brother, Josh. We are so blessed to be raising her in such a great community like Clanton. Not only are we busy with our new little addition but we are also expanding our cattle herd. My husband and I raise beef cattle on our farm, Six Gen Farms. We also breed Labrador Retrievers. You might say we have a "full plate" with both of us being teachers, taking care of our family and running a farm, but we would not have it any other way!
